Teams may continue to call TBay on St Louis, but, as of now, Lightning are telling teams St Louis is locked on the New York Rangers. #tsn (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23tsn&src=hash)

Are the Rangers trying to unseat the Toronto as the place old hockey players go home to die?

What happened to DAL, ANA, PHO, and CAL? Didn't they get the memo?

And CAR and NYI are the only teams in the Metro not represented. I suppose the canes got their look yesterday and the Islanders are probably gun shy dealing with the Sabres again. Fans there have to be pissed about how the Vanek trade panned out.

He asked Stevie Y to trade him to the Rangers, So they called Glen and asked him about what it would take, Rangers did not ask about MSL Tampa called them.

I'm not crazy about it since he is 38, But he's in fantastic shape and he could still play at a high level for 2-3 more years.

Plus, I don't think it would really take a whole lot to land him, Since he is 38 and will only wave his NMC to go to the NYR. (He lives in Westchester and rents his house out to Rangers players)

I don't think anyone saw that coming, Here is stat line for this season, 58 GP 25 G 31 A 56 P

Boomer Esiason (Life long NYR fan) broke the news of St Louis on his twitter a few days ago.

And tonight he tweeted "Sami Vatanen"

Going to be a interesting trade deadline in the NHL...

Ny Ranger fan buddy of mine for years had NY as the place hockey players went to collect gold watches... Shanahan was like 57... Jagr was playing hockey before the Dead Sea got sick. There were a few more but those are th two that came to mind.

Me either....And Marty said himself him and Stevie Y had a talk about his future with Tampa.

They must of had a real falling out over the Olympic snub.

In my teams locker room a couple of night ago, most were taking up for team Canada's coach in so much that a player like St. Louis didn't fit into what they wanted.

St. Louis is not a Gretzky, but he's one of those guys that you don't leave off of the roster.

he's spent a career earning it.

Marty is a treat to watch and one of the smartest players to ever touch the ice. I didn't understand the snub them and understand it even less now.

if I were Marty I'd be pissed too.

hes one of the games icons IMO.
