Shane Prince is a scratch for the Bimington Senators tonight, Sens boards are saying that Shane Prince and more will be coming to Buffalo and that Chris Stewart will be going to Ottawa once he passes his physical.

I'm guessing fans tied into that he's a Rochester native and that's why he'd be a good fit here. In reading, http://www.silversevensens.com/2013/2/1/3936806/top-25-under-25-14-shane-prince I have issues as he's ranked as the 14th best Senator under the age of 25 and toss in he ranks 8th best on HF for Senators prospects. Which to me isn't a great prospect and think Stewart is easily a top 6 forward on most NHL rosters so it's going to take a lot more than the Prince to make me happy with that trade. One thing to remember about Stewart is Paul Statsny and him are very close. If the Sabres looking to build something let's not forget that Stewart is under contract next season so we have him locked up and if we're truly looking to build something we might make a run at Statsny as an UFA and having Stewart here might making an effort to nab him even more enticing.

Tim Murray called Shane Prince the most skilled player in the London rookie tournament. Western NY native.
