Just got an email from WGR stating Bills will not use franchise tag on Jarius Byrd. They also state the Bills will not resign him and Byrd will be leaving. This has been a banner weekend for Buffalo sports.

Re: Byrd Gone
Per report Byrd suffers from plantar fucyouiitis"You can't be a real country unless you have beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need beer."

WGR: Sources Say Byrd Gone
Western New York’s number one source for daily sports talk and play-by-play as the flagship station of the Bills and Sabres. Stream, read and download WGR 550 AM from any device on Audacy
According to a source, the Bills and Jairus Byrd may be parting ways soon. Byrd is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and the team has until Monday at 4 pm to place the franchise tag on their star safety. I'm told that it's unlikely they'll use the tag and that it's unlikely they'll reach an agreement before that time.COMING SOON...

Re: Byrd Gone
Parker and Byrd are playing hard ball, because they still have 24 hours to make the team sweat.
If they truly did offer #1 money, and it was rejected, if I'm in the front office I sit on the numbers and see what happens tonight and tomorrow.YardRat Wall of Fame
