Helmets are great, unis are god awful. Jaxsonville helmets are great too for whoever said they were ugly. I like the modern helmets the NFL is rolling out. Tampa, Jax, Sea all of them are great.

The most ridiculous and sad part about is that it took the Bucs TWO YEARS to design and make this crap...that's right, two years:

I know that you are the graphics expert here and I do respect that. However, those don't look that bad considering that IMHO the newer unis worn by that team are all too damn generic. Speaking of seventies unis, I really hope the Royals man up and go all powder blue again, not just the jerseys but the pants as well. Now off my tangent, the problem with the Tampa Unis is that the 1997 edition were great. They were distinct. They were colorful but not busy. In other words the Bucs ruined a good thing.

I don't think people generally had as much of a problem with the old school Tampa uni's as much as the gay pirate on the helmet.

The George Brett era Royals uniforms are classic. I've never understood why they don't at least go all powder blue once in a while. The half and half look has "softball team" written all over it.

I would hate the new Tampa uniforms a lot less if they 86'ed the 1976 alarm clock numbers. They're hall of fame bad. Like, Bills' Tom Donahoe away jerseys bad.

I actually like the helmets. Gigundous logo and all. I thought the huge logo was a ballsy choice. The uniforms are a mess, though, IMO. The colors remind me of the old, Portland Trailblazers. That's not a compliment.

i have a pretty strong artistic side so when ppl complain about uniform designs im usually one to say i dont mind them

when i used to do graphic designs for other ppl i noticed that the longer everybody looked at them the more skewed their opinions became. initially they may not like something, then after looking and looking and looking they sort of lost their ability to judge and would pick one of the sort of outlier designs, as if they had become evaluation fatigued or something

looks like thats what happened here cuz really what can you say other than hideous

really they wouldnt be all that bad if it wasnt for the numbers. i like the black pants with the leg 'swoosh' instead of a stripe. the jerseys are a little plain but arent horrible, they could have used a little red to compliment where the orange accent is like the pants. the helmet logo looks way too big but i can live with that. but wow those numbers. its like if you tried to pick the least applicable design for the numbers what would it be? if i was trying to come up with the most ridiculous choice possible it would be that 'alarm clock' font, old english, or hand drawn calligraphy numbers
