I believe it is a 2016 3rd round pick for Miller/Ott. Turns into a 2014 1st if Blues go to conference finals or Miller resigns before free agency. If he resign with Blues after free agency starts it turns into a 2016 2nd rounder.

Isn't Chris Stewart also a UFA and thus a rental?

Didn't Sabres also get a 2015 2nd rounder from Islanders from Vanek trade? I thought a saw they got that as well.

I thought so too... but I found an article that says 2014 3rd... I'll research it further. I didn't know about the multiple conditions... Are you sure on that? I also forgot prospect William Carrier was part of the deal.

I'll quote and edit the OP in an hour or so (just to keep things more concise).

So the rest of the old "core" is finally gone,

who are they building around, Hodgson and Foligno? lol.

-Stewart needs a kick in the pants. Maybe Nolan can bring him back, but I doubt it, once a player starts floating it's usually a permanent condition.
I know alot of STL Fans feel he's been lethargic all season.

-D Rostislav Klesla, Prolly Rochester Bound.
-D Nicholas Deslauriers, Same here, Rachacha bound/
-F Hudson Fasching, No Idea, need more time to see him play.
-F Torey Mitchell, havent really seen enough, lets just say his highlight reel during his discussion on TV was VERY Short.
-G Neuvirth, is pretty good stats wise, I've seen him make great saves, and I've seen WTF Moments, but in retrospect, miller was good for 1 or 2 WTF Moments a game, so it's nothing new. Perhaps with a better Goalie Coach and starting minutes he might turn into a monster between the pipes.

Was listening to WGR interviewing Murray yesterday and I thought that is what Murray stated about if Miller resigns in free agency with St Louis Sabres get a second round and not a third in 2016

The building blocks are Girgensons, Zad, Risto and Pysyck.

3 out of 4 aren't even on the big team yet. They may be next year, but in all honesty I would let them stew for another year. Let them play together... let them earn a Calder Cup together.

The Blues resign Ryan Miller to an extension prior to the Blues selection in the 1st Round
The Blues trade Ryan Miller to another NHL team prior to the Blues pick in the 1st Round

B.
If NONE of the conditions in Paragraph A are met, then the Blues will assign their own 2016 (2nd) to the Sabres if any of the following conditions are met:

With 3 defensemen leading the way?

The last time Rochester won the Calder Cup was 1995-1996.

This is the best Rochester roster in recent memory: LINK (http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0000032006.html). That was a packed AHL roster. And it took the Sabres to?
