You never get a pick more than one lower than your original draft position, so even if we lose out we still get the #2.

I have to think if the Sabres draft second and someone drafts Reinhart number one overall they probably need to go with Ekblad. Hopefully Islanders will get a top 8 or 9 pick next year assuming they use this year's pick. Not sure how you can pass up that kind of talent.Comment

Keep reading that Sam Bennett is a kid who plays with an edge and that he seems to bring it a little harder when the pressure is on. THAT sounds like a player I might like.Comment

- All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp.
