Bills personnel dine with Ohio State DB

Ohio State defensive back Bradley Roby apparantely made quite the impression on the Bills coaching staff. A source close to Roby confirmed with News 4 Sports’ Lauren Brill that Bills personnel took the prospect to dinner on Friday night.

If they take a corner in the first or second round this year, I'm going to puke.

Could be just doing due diligence.

If we draft him it would be to start soon at CB. McKelvin would be a great #3 CB and we would have depth that way.

Or... Maybe McKelvin could move to S and help fill the void created by Byrd?

Let's throw out two Rob(e)ys in the secondary and see if we can confuse them. We've already got three Williams.

Because Tom Brady = Todd Collins, Peyton Manning = Tyler Bray

Generally,I think this has to be taken with caution because we do not know their free agency plans. Also, though people are clamoring for using high picks (1st or 2nd) on a G or RT, these are positions that are not usually regarded as the targets of high picks (you could argue that RT warrants a 2nd, maybe) and thus perhaps the OBD plan is to target certain lineman with mid-round (after 2nd) picks.

I believe that he is probably late first-2nd round or later from what I have read but maybe they think he has a unique attitude and skill set and that he might slip to their pick in round 2.

What is his size? I thought he is not too big but maybe I am thinking of Mikell, who is very small.

Also, we do not know what types of DBs Schwartz et al might want for their schemes.

He's 5'11", 194, and probably a second rounder unless somebody falls in love with him and decides to pull the trigger early.
