saginaw spirit forward terry trafford has been missing for a week. its believed he was cut from the team due to partying, and became depressed. he told his girlfriend he loved her, and told her he couldnt do life anymore.

his car was found today, with a dead body inside. the body has not been identified yet.

autopsy revealed he died of self asphyxiation.
so, its confirmed it was a suicide. he also had a history of depression. its been suggested he smoked pot to help deal with that depression, and that pot got him removed from the team.

Depression is one of those areas that really does not get enough focus or understanding

On the brighter side...Yahoo Sports Canada's Buzzing The Net has a good piece written by former Sabres prospect Gregg Sutch about what needs to be learned after this whole tragedy.
