    Signings everywhere

We have so many needs, and we watch teams signing players left and right, and we waited a day and sign a garbage OL bust? Seriously?

Bring in some better visits at least. I'm excluding the top dollar players since I know we're cheap.

Big 2nd WR - Hakeem Nicks, Miles Austin
TE competition - Brandon Pettigrew, Finley
    RT - Oher
DE opposite Mario - Tuck, Ziggy Hood
LB - Beason, Shaun Philips, Brandon Spikes, Woodley
CB opposite Gilmour - DRC, Tillman
Short yard RB - Blount, Kuhn

    Come on man! Do something!

    I don't disagree at all.

Let's go Oher. My friends always remind me of me shouting for Oher at pick 11 and when the pick finally was announced and it was MAYBIN, I've been mercilessly taunted every since. It may be five years after the fact, but better late than never.

This team is run the way Ralph wanted it to be run before he went senile. Brandon got this gig because he was a yes and spin man. He got his marching orders from Ralph long before he this position. Overdorf/Litman the son-in-law run this team to Ralph's specs so when he lost his big boy pants and exchanged them for Depends they knew what to do as well as Brandon. Whaley is made to look like an idiot in all this. He's a yes man too.

I think they're doing it right, let the first wave get out of the way.

OBD has been pretty secretive the last couple years in who visits. You never know.

Yes but the first wave is done. Now the second wave is going on visits everywhere but Buffalo.

What we usually do in recent years other than the Mario signing is wait until the 4th wave and pick up some bottom of the barrel guys. Only we did that on the second day this year.

Did you not see that the Bills' approach was to find "dust settle" guys? It's probably a little early even for some of those.

I know where those "dust settle" guys are. They are among the dust that has settled on Ralph's wallet.

Nah, we're still in the middle of the first wave. I have absolutely nothing against waiting until day 3 to start getting active. The Bills are still very much in re-build mode right now, and no one or two "big name" players are going to have a huge effect. They need to stay on course and continue to build via the draft and "bit" FA's. Now, they do need to quit letting homegrown talent get away, that **** is frustrating as hell.

And now the Pats are talking about signing Revis.

Meanwhile we sit on our damn hands and bring in nothing but 3rd stringers.

Jets bring in Eric Decker? I'll show you Nolan Carroll.
Pats bring in Revis? I'll show you the same old WR corp with no upgrade.
Dolphins upgrade their OL with the best OT in FA Branden Albert? I'll show you a bust of Chris Williams.

                        Way to compete Buffalo.

Pats going against their culture of not spending lavishly for Revis?

I'm trying to be a little patient and not freak out that we haven't signed anyone right away, but here's what I don't like:

So far, we lost Byrd and only gained Chris Williams. As of right now, we are a WORSE team than when the season ended last year.

I don't expect the Bills to go from crap to a Pro Bowl roster in one day of FA, but there is no excuse for getting worse.
