Vince Wilfork has asked for his release

The Patriots lack of loyalty is showing it's ugly head right about now.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Pats look like they could be in trouble on defense. It's great to not have to play against Wilfork anymore. That's a player you have no choice but to respect!

They just added arguably the best corner in the league, but they could be in trouble on D?

Well, we lost a Pro Bowl S and our DC, so where does that leave us?

we're talking about the Pats. We already know what we lost.

Without Wilfork their D isn't that good.

Best corner in the league? Maybe two years ago. He doesn't deserve his previous status until he can prove it again. They are losing the entire middle of their defense in Wilfork and Spikes.

It's still good to reveal how we see things differently when they happen to other teams.

Games are won at the trenches. I would rather face Revis over Wilfork.

They'll still go 11-5 at worst. That team will not suck again until Brady or Belichick leaves. I know it sucks, but you have to deal with it.

Revis on his best day can take one player out of the game. Wilfork alters entire game plans.

I personally want to beat the Patriots because we're better and not because they suck, but I enjoy watching them squirm a little bit.

****, beggers can't be choosey. I don't care how we beat them as long as we do.

I doubt they will release him. And I agree with WC. Revis has a reputation as the best corner in the league as he certainly earned that. Is he still? People from Seattle and a few others may argue. When you are the best, you dont' get traded and released no matter how much money you are asking for, and teams don't just sign you for one year taking all that cap hit. He's only 28 and still may retain the title of the best CB, but something tells me he isn't so any more ...

Well, they may go 11-5, but that is at best, not worst.

If the Bills beat the Pats* because the Pats* SUCK, I will be HAPPY with that.

Wilfork is an animal. he might not penetrate as well (don't we all have that same problem), but you can't move him off the ball.
