Playing for the Patriots makes him dirty in and of itself. I still hope we sign him though.

He just about took off Fitz's head with the crown of his helmet directly into Ryan's chin.

If he can do the same to Brady, Smith, Tannehill, etc...I'll take the 15 yards.

Well, there was the college eye gouge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta0garYRQ_0), knocking off Fitzpatricks helmet, Fitz never really said much bad about anyone, called Spikes a punk, Eric Wood called him a headhunter (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWUp3S7IiGg), cranky enough to vex Belichick (http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/10278421/brandon-spikes-new-england-patriots-placed-ir-being-late-practice), crap he talked about Buffalo (https://twitter.com/BrandonSpikes55/status/252151393857724416).

Easily googled.

But like when the Bills signed Dobler, or the Sabres signed Dave Schultz, even when we picked up Incognito a while, it's easy enough to forgive when they wear your colors and are good enough.

I did too, when he was here. Was a rabid jerkwad when elsewhere. The Dutton legwhip was terrible at the time, I thought. well, we all lose ourselves in the moment time to time. Will think the same of Spikes if he's worth a crap and doesn't kill anyone I know.

Nothing dirty about him, he's just a violent player.

Good. We need that attitude that this D has lacked since the last guy named Spikes left.

Damn Skippy. It's old school. If he played in years past he'd fit right in.

I call taking head shots from the blind side dirty, not just "violent".

Everything a Patriot does is exploited by the press somewhere or most all fan forums! Spikes, case in point!

Ever been at the bottom of a pile? Stuff happens, doesn't mean you're a dirty player.

I loved Dobler...

I always thought Dobler's dirtiness was overrated. At the time, they took a poll among defensive players..and it was Gene Upshaw that was voted the dirtiest player.

But the guy brought attitude. The first year he was here..the Ol went from being considered...a bit shaky..to an Oline that gave up 16 sacks in a year. Fergy actually looked halfway good behind them.

Bringing in another Dobler wouldn't be a bad thing.

Eye gouging someone at the bottom of a pile sure does qualify as dirty. So does a knee to the groin or a punch to the belly. All are intentional acts done to hurt someone that have nothing at all related to defending the play.

Now that he's a bill, I think he's as saintly as Tebow.

I hear he feeds the poor and reads to sick children and it's very rare that he does any Eye gouging during this
