OT but have you read either his Achtung Panzer or Panzer Leader? If you're into the topic matter, and it seems you are, may I suggest Triandafillov's the Nature of Operations of Modern Armies; Manstein's From a Soldier's Life, or his Lost Victories? You may also wish to take up the Rommel Papers by B.H. Liddell Hart (basically a very good collection of primary source material assembled by the prominent British historian). I should also recommend Zhukov's Memories and Reflections (normally in two volumes). You may also wish to take a gander at pretty much anything written by John Erickson.

One more source that I forgot to tell you about would be David Corrum's excellent The Roots of Blitzkrieg: Hans von Seeckt and German Military Reform. I would also suggest that you take on D'yakov's Red Army and Wehrmacht. Also, you cannot go wrong with David Glantz' work on the eastern front. Not only do you see the relationships between the German and Soviet high commands that dated as far back as 1920 but you can also see how both sides interacted with each other and thought of each other both before and during the war. I would also suggest Viktor Suvorov's Chief Culprit and Icebreaker.

I never tried to make that much of a big deal out of it but it is nice when someone recognizes where the other person is coming from.

I think many here know that if ANY person at this point in my life tried to physical harm me I will hold nothing back and do whatever I had to to protect my body.

Its not easy or fun sometimes being a female when dealing with a male. Men physical over power women, and there is nothing we can do sometimes to fight back, and some men use that to their advantage.

I actually don't know is even going on anymore in this thread. I simply said that I was happy to see chickie go, then she got butt hurt.. She accused me of asking for her to be banned (false) and then tied me into wagon as some kind of tag team to get rid of her. (SUPER false. I was against everything that was going on regarding the PRS, Wagon was for it)

As I have stated, wagon is a real life friend, but if you look at our posting and the history of it, I know you are well aware that we are completely different people/posters/styles/personalities and no-body pulls either of our strings.

I never thanked anything that had to do with the rape threat (which I never saw my-self) but take it at face value. (meaning I don't dispute it or necessarily know with my own two eyes it happened.)

I have also said that attacking someone with a threat like that is way over the line and have zero history of making threats even close to that myself so I don't condone it.

If you really think that there was a response due from lit based on what they said, it is a damn good thing you were not active in that forum in earlier days. The things said were way worse than anything Coastal and Blondie said to the pathological liar.

The thing is, and the thing that some of you are ignoring is that it does not matter what was said to him. He crossed a line that does not and can not get crossed. There is no defense whatsoever to say what he did. There is no reason why anybody should expect that kind of threat while engaging in message board banter that had been going on for years and actually had been much worse in the past.

Lots of people were interested in helping keep the buffalorange alive and well. They just weren't interested in giving their money (again), to end up banned, like those before them.

I think if you polled the staff here, you'd find a large number of people that had paid and worked to keep the range afloat only to be kicked to the curb when they disagreed with one of Rick's racist or misogynistic rants.

I understand Rick didn't like getting **** on, but neither did the people that paid to keep the lights on.
