Draft Scenario: What do you do?

I've been assuming throughout this off-season that at least 2-3 qb's will go in the top 8, but what if no qb's get picked before #9? I think this would be worst case for the Bills, so here's the scenario. What would you do?

1. Hou - DE J. Clowney
2. Stl - OT G. Robinson
3. Jax - DE/LB K. Mack
4. Cle - WR S. Watkins
5. Oak - WR M. Evans
6. Atl - OT J. Matthews
7. TB - OT T. Lewan
8. Min - TE E. Ebron
9. Buf - On the clock..

Scenario 1: You've made calls to every team, and no one wants to move up, or the value is just total crap. Either way moving down is not an option in this scenario. You have to make a pick. Who do you take?

Scenarion 2: The only legit trade offer you get is from a team that's already picked in the top 5 like Houston or Jax. They offer you their 2nd and 3rd this year and their 1st next year for the #9 pick. Do you take the trade or stick with your pick?

So what do you do in both scenarios? I know the EJ haters would just take their favorite qb, but I'm more interested in the thoughts of those that can accept the reality that EJ is our qb this year for better or worse. This is just for fun, I don't actually expect this to happen.

I'd take option #2 as long as it's not Houston. Any of those other 4 teams would likely mean at least a Top10 pick next year

I didn't mean to present the scenarios as choosing one or the other. I'm still more curious who people would pick in scenario 1, since the players we've discussed the most are all gone.

I would probably take a QB (and of them, probably Bridgewater, but if they are really sold on EJ I would probably go with Barr, Mosely, or even Nix.

I too would prefer to trade down then and take multiple 2nd rd, 3rd rd and next year's 1st. With the extra 2nd & 3rd we could get a RT, and 2 Guards if we wanted.

If however, I am forced to draft someone w/o a trade, I probably take LB Barr.

The next years first pick with one of these team could lead to a #1 pick, which might be needed for a QB.

I agree. I don't think this is realistic, but just wanted to consider the possibility.

i would hate option 2, because i think the bills have developed their defense to be ready to win. and i think they need more talent right now on offense and more depth on defense. So getting debt alone in this draft, unless it comes with guards who are ready to play, may not help the bills get better this year.

i just don't know enough of the players at this point, but i think the bills have to look at a QB at that point if they are stuck with the pick and looking at BPA, as they should be.

i would prefer bortles because he seems to fit buffalo in terms of low key guy, always gets the attenttion of his teammates, and has played well on a kind of second tier school. but i would see the allure to johnny football because his style probably is more in line with EJ (more versatile and mobile), than bringing in a guy who would be very different from EJ.

I hope the original post doesn't happen.

If I had to choose someone, it would be Mosley for sure. To be honest, even if Mike Evans and Lewan were still there, I'd still be happy with Mosley as the pick.
