I'm a hug Milan fan... one of my favorite players, but this has no place in the NHL.

A suspension better be forthcoming.

"Unfortunately that gap was DeKeyeser's taint. Lucic purposely and maliciously swung his stick and slashed DeKeyser right in the balls. You can actually see Lucic check to see that he wasn't in view of the referees before he lands his devastating blow."

I can imagine what Mike Milbury would of said a out it. He probably would of blamed DeKeyser. I am so sick of Lucic being a wussy and pick on smaller or vulnerable players but not man up against the tough guys in the league. He needs to be suspended.

I doubt the NHL has the balls to suspend him in the playoffs.

Of course, the Boston fans will defend the play anyhow......

Of course you are.

What a piece of garbage.

A freaking coward. From behind!

Kelata would be suspended for the rest of his life if he did this.

If he gets off scott free, the NHL is a fraud.

He should be arrested, not just suspended.

Typical Boston piece of crap.

I guess he can do that to Kessel and only get fined $2,500

Any jokes at the expense of the Uniballer are good.

Disgusting and an embarrassment that he gets a small fine and no suspension with intent to injure.

How is there not a suspension for this?

Pretty blatant dirty play, you wonder if it was any other team would they get this type of break.

Quinville got a $25K fine for touching his own nuts so clearly the NHL finds touching your own balls a more serious matter than tapping someone else's balls.

Sooner or later, Lucic will tick off the wrong player and he'll REALLY pay for it. Just ask Matt Cooke, who ran right into Everett Kane's fist one night and got cold-cocked.

Because it's Boston.

Enough said.

This is what justifies this silly behavior ? Talk about pushing the envelope.

He did the exact same thing as against Montreal less than a month ago. Repeat offender with the intent to injure and NHL gives a small fine. Another reason why NHL will never be taken seriously in the sports world.

what did belfour get back in the day when he was on the stars. he caught someone real good.

i agree, it's a joke that something that blatant doesn't get a suspension.

looked it up, seems like belfour got $3k fine for hitting lapoint (also a redwing in 1998 playoffs). Soooo, the NHL, on an inflation adjusted basis, takes less of an issue on slashing someone in the nether regions in 2014 that in 1998. Pathetic.

this incident doesn't seem to be out of the norm this playoff year. there have been at least 5 incidents thus far. the nhl has to get this under control. it's absurd. if it keeps happening, we are definitely going to see kids doing this in their games in a few years.
