    Left with shallow pockets and few options, the Tennessee Titans are taking the economical approach to building their receiving corps.

    It's the equivalent of bargain hunting, and GM Floyd Reese and head coach Jeff Fisher are sifting through the sand to find a hidden jewel in 2003.

    The Titans don't have room under the $75 million salary cap to buy a big name, and recent free agent disappointments like WR Carl Pickens have encouraged Reese to look toward the NFL Draft for help, an area in which he has flourished as the club’s personnel chief.
