Flores recalls team's roots as Seors in 1960
Pro football is not just a game these days -- it's a multibillion-dollar business. And among Hispanic fans, one of the most popular teams is the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders, who started in 1960 as the Seors with Tom Flores as quarterback, have continued their commitment to outreach, holding a mixer last week with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Alameda County.
The Seors nickname only lasted a couple of months, but Flores has remained a loyal Raider. The NFL's first Hispanic coach, Flores led the Raiders to two Super Bowl victories and is now a member of the team's radio announcing crew....
