Pittsburgh needs to go defense heavy on the draft. With their best CB now 34 yrs old, they would be ecstatic to get the top CB of the draft: CB Justin Gilbert.

They are and it is recognized that they need to get younger on defense. But have you checked who their wide receivers are on the rosters? If you can name their 2nd receiver, you can probably win a lottery. Hey if you can name one of the receivers, you should win something.

Well connected reporters here have pointed fingers at a big wide receiver, specifically at Benjamin. If you look at their history, they haven't drafted a 1st round CB since Rod Woodson. They believe they can get a good CB in later rounds. But they have spend a 1st on receiveing target a number of times. If Evans is on board at #15, Steelers will run to the podium. Heck if Evans is available at #9, I'm pretty sure Whaley will get call from a 412 area code.

I'm not disagreeing that they need a WR, but this draft is top heavy on WRs...they'll be able to get a fine one in the 2nd or even later rounds!!!

I don't think their WR's are that bad. They have a #1 guy in Brown, which is the hardest thing to find, and have a decent veteran in Moore.

I think they go CB here, with Gilbert being the pick.
