Reading more into pre-draft visits makes the case for Evans

I know we've debated at will on whom the Bills will draft. One argument everyone has made that Evans look like a logical pick is because he has the measurables and might be available with our pick. Toss in he did visit the Bills for a pre-draft visit. Yet looking more in depth we also visited with his former teammate Jake Matthews but also met with two CBs that faced Texas A&M in their 1st game of and last game of their season in bringing in CBs from Rice and Duke. Is it possible we wanted to get some intel from the guys against Evans to see just how good he is? As I was just reviewing the notes from Whaley's pre-draft conference talking about size of WRs etc. but then again it might also make for the case as to why we brought in said CBs as both (along with Fuller) do offer up some size at the position for what it's worth. I know everyone is trying to read tea leaves to determine what we're targeting so I might be over reading into things but it's tough with the draft so far away.

Evans and Matthews will be gone before the Bills pick.

        Hooray for meaningless wins.

I'm not sure of Matthews being gone, his stock is taking a bit of a fall as the latest talk is Raiders supposedly like Lewan. If that's the case it could open up a small opening that Matthews falls to us. As if Houston goes Clowney, the Rams go Richardson, the Jaguars could go Manziel or Watkins, the Browns go with whomever the Jags don't take, the Raiders take Lewan, the Falcons take Mack, the Bucs take Evans, the Vikings take Broyles and that leaves the Bills Matthews. Right now I think the Bills targets are Evans, Matthews or Ebron. One of the three should definitely be there for the taking. Wile I'm not big on Evans or Ebron but if read into things it seems like these 3 make the most sense. Yet trading down could still be an option if the right partner is there or someone dangles a nice offer our way like the Rams did last year.

Ebron will be there, the other 2 will not.

            Book it.

Well, the good news is there are several teams ahead of us fully capable of making a stupid pick. Combine that with the possibility of at least one QB going in the top 8, and I'm pretty sure we'll have someone interesting to pick, whether it's Matthews, Evans, or one of the guys non one expects to still be there..
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Nah...I think the visits show you that Cobb is the pick.

I'd be very excited about either one of these 3.

Its my opinion but I don't think they are drafting Ebron. Its my opinion but I think that Zach Martin and O'Dell Beckham are higher on the board than Ebron. So even if Matthews and Evans are gone I would suspect you'd see those two before Ebron
