7th-round pick, Ravens agree on 3-year contract

The Ravens' final draft pick is the first to agree to a contract.

Strong safety Antwoine Sanders, a seventh-round pick out of Utah, reached terms on a three-year deal worth about $934,000. Sanders, originally expected to be taken in the third or fourth round, was selected with the fifth-to-last pick in the draft.

The Ravens have 12 days to sign their remaining 10 picks - which includes first-rounders Terrell Suggs and Kyle Boller - before players report to training camp July 27. Most seasons, the bulk of the league's draft picks sign during the week leading up to camp.

Sanders was a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection and finished his two-year career at Utah with 143 tackles, six interceptions and eight passes broken up. In a crowded Ravens secondary, he will need to make his mark on special teams to make the roster.
