Recent costs to move up... For Watkins or other

    2013
Oakland traded No. 3 overall pick to Miami (DE Dion Jordan) for No. 12 and No. 42
    2012
St. Louis traded No. 2 overall pick to Washington (QB Robert Griffin III) for No. 6 and No. 39, and first-rounders in 2013 and 2014
Minnesota traded No. 3 overall pick to Cleveland (RB Trent Richardson) for No. 4, No. 118, No. 139 and No. 211
    2009
Cleveland traded No. 5 overall pick to New York Jets (QB Mark Sanchez) for No. 17 and No. 52, and three players -- Kenyon Coleman, Brett Ratliff and Abram Elam
    2004
San Diego traded No. 1 overall pick to New York Giants (QB Eli Manning) for Philip Rivers (No. 4 pick), No. 65, and first- and fifth-round picks in 2005
    2003
Chicago trades No. 4 overall pick to Jets (DT Dewayne Robertson) for No. 13, No. 22 and No. 116

The Texans reportedly want to trade out of the No. 1 overall pick. The Falcons reportedly want Jadeveon Clowney. So what's a once-in-a-generation defensive end worth?

Rumors are flying but a new one is the Texans taking Macknot Clowney. Another one has all 3 OT's going before 5. Oak has moved down before... I wouldn't mind a move to 2-5 for Watkins. Last years Oak to Mia trade shows it should be do-able for our 1st and 2nd.

This chronicles all the moves from last year:

All three tackles gone before 5 means Watkins, Mack or Clowney is available. So yeah, if the Raiders want to be stupid, I am so down to trade them our 1 and 2.

If a QB or two go as well, Watkins, Mack, Clowney or Evans should be available at #9.

      No need to trade up.

I can't see Mack or Clowney sliding past 3, as assume Houston will take one and Jacksonville the other. The Rams seem to be destined to take Robinson unless someone trades up to take Clowney if the Texans pass on him. Cleveland seems like a good place for the Watkins talk to start but could also go Manziel. Oakland could go Watkins or Lewan if last week's rumors were true. Atlanta seems like Matthews or Lewan. Tampa should take Evans unless Watkins slides to them. Minnesota is a bit of a wildcard but Blake Bortles seems like a fit. Leaving the Bills Ebron, yes I think he's a reach but ultimately I'd rather have him at 9 then trade down and end up with a CB or S or a second class OT.
