It's been a while since I did this. There have been plenty of bad mocks, but nothing that quite caught my eye as terrible enough to merit the special recognition of an idiot mock award, until now.
This is produced by a New York Jets fan site. It caught my attention for the Bills pick, of course, but there are a few other faux pas you also may enjoy. For instance the second overall pick by St. Louis is Khalil Bell, the outside linebacker from Buffalo. What? You never heard of him? Have you been hiding under a rock? No, the author of the mock has, or he'd have learned it was Khalil Mack. He also has Atlanta picking Kony Ealy at #6 overall. That would put Mike Smith in an early grave. It's true Atlanta needs a defensive end badly, and is mentioned in rumors as a possible trading partner with Houston, their target being Clowney, but what a reach! Mike Evans falls to Philly at #22 in this mock. I think the Bills pick is the cherry sitting on top of a pile of whipped cream. With Greg Robinson, Jake Matthews, Taylor Lewan and Zack Martin all on the board when the Bills pick at #9 (how likely is that?) the Bills pick a guard rated as a late first rounder, Xavier Su'a Filo. I knew Jets fans were mentally challenged, but this is ridiculous.
