It's draft day. I really think the Bills are serious about moving up for Watkins. I think we move to #2 or #3 and give up 9 and 41.

The Bills are smoke screening on Watkins. They do move up but they do it for Mack.

Bills trade up to 3. And take Khalil Mack.
9 and 41 possibly even a 4th or 5th.

I wish they would move up for Watkins. If he is available at 4 or 5, they might think about trading up. In general, however, I have a feeling they won't. If Jake Matthews falls to nine, they will take him. I'm not thrilled with it, but I think they are going to take Odell Beckham at nine. (This is a hunch posted by Joe B. from WGR.)

Love it. Abso-****ing-lutely ****ing love it.

If you're the Bills FO and you truly believe EJ can be the guy, this is the kind of move you HAVE to make when given the opportunity. I understand there are those around here who aren't convinced that EJ has the durability or talent to succeed, but Whaley and Marrone very obviously disagree. Make no mistake: this is a move that will make or break their careers in the NFL.

BUT let's not forget, next year's QB pool is likely deep enough that someone who would have been a first rounder this year will fall to the 2nd. There's absolutely the possibility that we grab a guy like Brett Hundley in the 2nd round next season and he becomes our guy. That's assuming EJ can't make good use of THE BEST offensive talent in the 2014 draft.

Well we all know by now that we traded Stevie Johnson to the 49ers for a conditional 4th round pick next year. Could be a 3rd rounded based on the productivity of Stevie next year!
Guess the Bills feel that having all those good young receivers out weighs keeping a 6yr veteran on the team. Stevie is from San Francisco and goes home to play. We wish him well and
now that he's gone and we only gave up next years 1st round pick and re-claimed our 4th rounder for Watkins I feel better about the deal even though it was worth what we gave up to get Watkins!
Now lets get two of the three we need at OT, TE, DB tonight!
