What on earth could Beckham do that the plethora of small/fast wr's we already have not do?

SJ, Mike Williams, Woods, Goodwin and more...

In the name of Matt Millen, how many freakin' WR's do we need ?

Well, Id be on board with a target that brings something (size) that our current guys don't have.

I just don't see it..not that Joe is wrong but I don't see how that pick makes sense.

Beckham has the same scouting report as half the receivers on the team. Fortunately Joe B said it would be Barkley last year and Dre Kirkpatrick the year before, so it's probably safe to predict that Joe B. will be wrong again.

Didn't Buscaglia say EJ last year?

maybe it's being pushed to make the eagles nervous to trade up? that story with austin last year to get the trade back and the qb we wanted. i would rather get a big receiver than a burner.

The Bills might be doing some spinning like they did last year about wanting Tavon Austin in hopes someone behind us will be willing to trade up. That or Joe B feels we really want a WR and with Watkins and Evans off the board we'll reach for one at pick 9 like we did a few years ago when Huff was off the board and elected to take Whitner.

Joe Buscaglia, the Bills beat reporter for WGR 550 http://www.wgr550.com/Bills-Beat-Blog/9034669?pid=399558. Of course Joe's just reporting what Peter King reported and who knows where this rumor started but knowing the way things seem to be reported nowadays it was from some rumor started or misinterpretation of something said on an online message board or a Q&A session by a reporter online.

Hopefully this is just spin as the team doesn't need another undersized speed receiver, they need a true number 1 type of WR.

I agree we need a #1 WR but I wouldn't expect any rookie we draft to step in and produce #1 WR numbers. It's why I think that our pick is either going to be Matthews or Ebron and possibly Lewan. Yet the signs point more to the first two being more likely.

Yes a few days prior, he was the first and only one that I know of to say it.

However he had Ebron in his final mock because Beckham is gone.

Well the Austin interest wasn't exactly spin. They did like him a lot they just wanted/needed a QB more.

Of the various potential draftees walking the red carpet pre-draft on NFLN with their moms, he by far had the hottest mother.
