The Seattle Seahawks will enter into a new regional television partnership today with Fox Sports Net, with the network televising all four preseason games as well as two weekly shows featuring head coach Mike Holmgren.
As part of a deal to be announced this morning, the two weekly shows will be on Saturday nights following the "Northwest Sports Report," and on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. through September and at 6:30 p.m. in October.
FSN's first preseason game is Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. against the Chargers at Seahawks Stadium. FSN will air a 30-minute pregame show prior to each telecast. The other preseason games to be televised are: Aug. 15, 4:30 p.m. at Indianapolis; Aug. 23, 7 p.m., vs. Kansas City; and Aug. 29, 5:30 p.m. at Denver.
"This partnership will benefit Seahawks fans across the Pacific Northwest," Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke said in a statement.
