    Stevie traded

For a 4th rounder next year. Just heard on WGR.

    Sounds like it's the 49ers.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

That was quick! ESPN's @AdamSchefter says the #Bills have moved Stevie Johnson to San Francisco for a 2015 conditional 4th.

This move is getting out our own way. Stevie's time was up. His number was high, and he's the 3rd or 4th best wideout now on the roster at this point. Sad to see him go but he's good friend of mine and he gets to go home and possibly get a ring. I'm happy for him.

So, the Bills paid him an extra $1.75M this year as a going away present in March and will have $10.225M in dead money on the cap for SJ this season. That is pretty poor cap management.

Thanks for everything until last year, when you laid down. He got the big contract.

                Goodbye.

Good move, no room on the team for Stevie anymore. Im a big fan of his, but he's never made the big play for the team. I think the play that stounds out the most is the drop in Ot against the Steelers. We get back the 4th we had traded for Watkins. We didn't win with him, so how can it be a big loss..

I HATE giving up GOOD players for CRAP, LOW round picks.

thats too bad. but if it ends up a third thats pretty decent value for him at this point i think

puts more pressue on the bearded black williams deal thats for sure. they are going to need him to step into that top three now and provide the mismatches stevie would have

Stevie's spot running style worked with Gailey but it may not work elsewhere. He may have to adapt to be successful.
