I hope Sam makes it. I really hope all of the players will. I know they won't. But I watch the later rounds, to see who gets a moment of glee. It has to be a great feeling. I'm delighted for him. Delighted for everyone of them and even every one of those that hooks up as an UDFA, because it's fun getting a chance for rare glory and having a chance to chase a dream. I love that about the draft, the early camps.

Knew a couple people had a shot in pro camps or tryouts for major college programs, they didn't make it, beamed with pride about it. Just so, was beyond me.

Well that was my thought too. Yeesh. I've always maintained Sam is not really gay but claimed so to publicize himself. You watch, he'll be dating a female Kardashian in a month, like Bruce Jenner and oh ho, he's switched teams and has better taste in furniture.
