This might also give Sentreal a reason to delay signing a contract because right now he's not an employee nor is under the current CBA rules & regulations. One might think that Whaley knew this was coming and a first / second round talent would look way more attractive with a minimal punishment from the league, obviously separate of his poor conduct.

This could be considered a brilliant move by Whaley as well.

Travel problems?

Given his situation, he should have made sure his ass was in Buffalo 3 days prior to minicamp.

First thing I thought of as well, this guy needs to get his head out of his A.

Didn't Whaley say Henderson has one chance in Buffalo, so even if the league wide sentences are reduced and the threshold increased chances are one slip-up and he is out of B-lo.

Like not making a mandatory mini-camp ??

No need for a rookie 7th round pick with some questionable history to make a good first impression . . .

If he was flying out of a destroyed mid-western town then I can see giving him some slack, otherwise what is more important than this ??

He played today & got beat regularly is what I heard but he's physically capable of being a great player, head needs to go on straighter.

Considering the team makes the travel arrangements for the players, maybe it is not he who needs to get his head out of his A?

Horse to water scenario, I'm sure the original plan wasn't to keep him away day 1.

I thought that the NFL can't discipline a guy for things that he did while he wasn't in the NFL.

What is the issue here anyway? I haven't heard anything about him in the news.

Yeah, in one post the Bills set all the players travel arrangements & now it's different. Pick an argument that works whenever you want, QB play doesn't matter much either right ?
