Re: Wheatfield has 800 Acres for Potential Bills Stadium
I'm not convinced that a stadium positively affects the area its built in. It really depends on how it is used. In Cleveland, it doesn't appear the stadium has changed the waterfront much there.the FnC sat in an area that was stagnant for much of its life before Canalside started developing. With Harbor Center, it really looks like that area is coalescing into a destination.
I think what a new owner will want is PSLs, higher ticket pricing, and most likely less tailgating. That would make a waterfront or downtown stadium more likely."Hate is a lack of imagination."

Traffic from Buffalo would be brutal... River Road and Niagara Falls Blvd would be packed. Not sure how you pull that off without some major road work. Plus, why build there if you want to be in the boonies? We already have a stadium in the boonies. Save $500 million dollars and just renovate that if this is the best option.

Traffic would be a nightmare with a stadium there.
