All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I may fire Brandon right from the start. I'd have to see if he's as respected in NFL circles as some claim he is. If he is I'd keep him around for at least this season. I don't see the point in getting rid of someone who NFL execs have a high opinion of even if the fans hate him. I don't want to be a Jerry Jones Dan Snyder type who interfere to much when I don't know the inner workings of the NFL If Brandons looked at as just another guy I don't see the point in his job and I'd probably let him go.
This requires more thought than I have the time to put in at the moment, but I would unequivocally fire Russ Brandon before doing anything else. He's a proven loser.

Just watch for the first year, no changes. Just give people enough rope to hang themselves and if they do, makes finding a replacement easy. Best case scenario is we just win.
I'd give Brandon a raise for being able to consistently sell this inferior product to the masses after hiring real football guys in every other facet of the organization.

I'd keep Brandon. He's been a very good marketing guy.
I'd fire all the talking heads at the top. Brandon, Littmann, Overdorf. Distance this team from the last 14 years. Whaley and Marrone stay on til the end of the season (it's to late to do anything now) knowing it's playoffs or bust. My number one goal would be to find someone that knows what a good QB looks like.
