You guys that want Trump as owner are fools. This guy is 110% about himself. He would have us pining for the blissful days of complaining about Ralph's cheapness in short order. He'd be better than the team moving but other than that just dreadful.

Myself personally, If Trump is the type of man that wants his name in the spotlight,

he's the type of man that wants to win a Championship...

I agree with dog. If he keeps us in Buffalo, and commits to putting a winning product on the field, who am I to complain?

The only commitment he ever makes is to promote himself.

He's the ultimate me-guy.

Well, what better way to promote yourself than to own a Super Bowl Champion?

If you look at Trump's days from the USFL it's obvious he doesn't like to lose or deface himself by putting inferior talent on the field. Personally I'd prefer an owner like Trump over Wilson,

Trump's interest in buying the Bills is about as serious has his interest in running for president.

Don't kid yourself, all owners are all about themselves. 15 years ago everyone thought that Wilson was a Bills' fan's best friend in terms of keeping the team around. Now that the dust has settled we find out that it wasn't so.

At the top of my list is an owner that's dedicated to putting a competent front office in place. If that doesn't happen, I don't care if they move.

What if we get an owner that's committed to keeping us in Buffalo but not to putting a winning product on the field like our only other owner?

Seriously, what would your thoughts be?

Sure but there's degrees of self absorption right? If the average owner is the SI swimsuit edition, Trump is Hustler

I don't know, just because others hide their ugliness better doesn't make that true. For years everyone thought that Wilson was the greatest guy because of this ongoing floated lie, largely started by him, that he's done all he can for both present and future to keep the team in Buffalo. Then we find out that that was a complete crock.

I mean if he couldn't be trusted I don't think that there's a difference and that any differences are trivial. IMO Trump's just more outspoken and upfront. Jones is the kind of guy that would pay to have you knocked off mob style while denying that he was involved until it was proven, figuratively speaking that is.

Jones, Kraft, Mara, Snyder, etc., they're all the same. If anyone thinks that they even remotely care about their fans first, then those people are delusional. JMO

I think what you say is more of a style/personality thing. Trump's personality doesn't agree with you as much as the more quiet owners do, largely because there's less, on the surface, to disagree with, but if you dug far enough you'd see equal or even more.

What, you don't think that the lease that Ralph and the county put together is not keeping the team in Buffalo ? If Wilson was to sell the team before the lease was worked out, the team could be gone in a couple of years. The Bills aren't going anywhere and it's mainly because of Ralph Wilson.

If the owner does his job and STFU I won't need to dig far enough will I? Give me a quiet owner all day. Jones and Snyder? No. Kraft and Mara? Yes. Kraft and Mara have like 7 SB wins between them and on the rare instance you hear them talk you don't have the urge to shower like after a typical Trump interview. We're not nominating anyone for sainthood. But is it too much to ask that the owner of our favorite team isn't mind numbingly annoying?

Notice now that real bidders like Terry Pegula are emerging there's only crickets from the Trump camp. Trump is a clown that draws the media like flies to a turd.

OK, difference of opinion then. But no, I don't think that the lease is a hurdle that couldn't be overcome by a new owner with intentions to move the team. Given the kind of money that's being rumored to be involved in purchasing the team, IMO $400 would hardly stop someone from moving the team if they had a likely suitor elsewhere. I guess we'll find out what's going on, or at least have a better idea, within the next 6 months.

There are a lot of quiet owners that haven't won squat though too. It's hardly a trait that's required for success. Besides, Kraft isn't all that "quiet," you think? Maybe in relation to gasbags Snyder and Jones, but not in relation to all the other owners.

Jones and Snyder are just egotistical, far more so than the average owner. Snyder is his own worst enemy regarding the Redskins name change.

Name an owner that isn't self possessed. Hey if Toupe can keep em in WNY, build a winner, and win a lombardi or three, I think we'll all enjoy the Donald as he turns the Bills into the most fabulous, luxurious, best team in the NFL.

I agree quiet doesn't = winning but let's be honest: there is NOTHING positive about a gas bag owner. Trump would make Jones and Snyder look like a couple of church mice. And the Bills would be like 20th on the list of interests for Trump. There would be a bunch of excitement for a while, people would rally around him, etc but in short order he would wear on Bills Nation like a bad case of the clap. Just my 2 cents.

Well, Pegula would be my first choice, followed by Gollisono with Trump a distant third.

But I think the Bills would be #1 on Trumps interest list. He tried to force his way into the NFL with the USFL the same way the AFL owners did.

I think Trump would do his best to make the Bills a WINNING team as would Pegula.

The Bills would without doubt be more relevant around the World with Trump as owner. More so than anyone else owning the Bills.

Everyone who thinks Trump will magically make the Bills a winner is brainwashed by the Trump hype machine. The guy is all talk and little action. His rep is manufactured and sold to gullible people. He made the most noise about buying the Bills early on. Now that the real high rollers are entering the game, Trump makes an out for himself and slithers away.
