The Vikings' negotiating window with tight end Jim Kleinsasser has reopened, but there appears to be no urgency from either side to discuss a long-term contract extension.
"I don't know what will happen," said Kleinsasser's agent, Jimmy Sexton. "We'll have to see. He's signed for this year at the franchise number, which is something we're comfortable with. But if they want to sit down and talk, certainly we'd be open to it."
The Vikings signed quarterback Daunte Culpepper to a 10-year extension worth up to $102 million in May and are focused on getting their seven-man draft class signed by the start of training camp July 25.
