Whitner, a top-10 pick of the Bills back in 2006, made this observation as well: “Wonder how you Bills fans gonna feel when the team is moved (https://twitter.com/DonteWhitner/status/484871032428572673)? LOL,” and “Can you say Toronto Bills?!?!?!?! (https://twitter.com/DonteWhitner/status/484871699528437760)“

As best we can decipher from Whitner’s timeline, the wife of Bills (and West Virginia University) legend Darryl Talley took issue with Whitner’s comments. And Whitner fired back.

And Darryl Talley eventually got involved: “I’m gonna have 2 go all Louis Vuitton suitcase (https://twitter.com/DonteWhitner/status/484889856406224897) on this negro <S>@</S>DonteWhitner (https://twitter.com/DonteWhitner).”

Talley later made reference to Whitner’s new team’s November 30 trip to Buffalo, and to Talley’s own presence in the franchise’s Ring of Honor: “When u come out the tunnel in November look up and left. U’ll never see ur name there or anywhere.”

So Whitner eventually challenged Talley to a boxing match. Talley accepted. We think.

“I’ll have a grip around ur mother f–king throat,” Talley tweeted. “U have no idea how far my reach will reach. *****.”

It’s unclear whether or when the fight will happen. But there’s no way that two guys bobbing and weaving with their fists will be nearly as entertaining as two guys sparring and parrying with their fingers.

What is left out of this is that Whitner tweeted that he ****ed Talleys daughter. Truly disgusting behavior from that clown.

Whitner acts like he's something. He's not a third of the player Talley was. Never saw anyone do this to Talley. (sorry about the quality)

I really hope this fight can happen.
remember Whitner challenged that small time writer to a fight.
The guys got big mental problems.

Last time I saw Tally he looked in good condition.
Id love to see him rip Whitner.
I'd put up some charity money for this.

I also can't believe the NFL lets their player do this stuff either.

A third? Try a tenth, or hundredth.

That's stomping on hallowed ground in my book...Whitner is completely dead to me. Can't wait until we play them.

Pretty douchy, maybe we can make a play package just for him.

Throw it to the TE over the middle...everybody has that in their playbook against Whiffner.

Talley is my favorite Bill ever.Mine as well. I actually had his signed game jersey. I donated it to a young Bills' fan who was putting together a sports memorabilia bar in his basement.

Mike Stratton is my second. "The Tackle Heard 'Round The World". Keith Lincoln was never the same.

So, Buffalo drafts Whitner too high, which allows him to make far more than he should have. He underperformed here but it still allows him to get a huge contract from SF. Now, two years later, he's talking **** about the team on Twitter and involving the family of a guy who retired 10 years before he came into the league?

WTF is wrong with him?

I think Whitner has pretty much shown himself to be a grade-A douche-bag, long before even this classless attack on Talley. I don't think it a surprise he is making an ass out of himself again.

Take Bills fans out of the equation because we are bias but if you asked anyone that knows both of them they would say Talley is a man of high character and very well respected. Not many respect Whitner as a person.

Saw one of his tweets along the lines of "How will y'all feel when the Bills move to Toronto LOL"

My reply was "probably the same way you'd feel when you realize you have the logo tattooed on your arm..."

whitner always struck me as a guy who was showing signs of brain trauma before he finished playing the game.

the stuff that comes out of his mouth (or more appropriately, his fingers) is ridiculous. if the bills never drafted him that high, when his pathetic contract with buffalo was up, he could have easily been out of the game.

i love watching 3rd down with him covering the slot. a WR, a TE, my grandmother, they all get the first down. he sucks.

Not sure if this was posted before:

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2014-07-04/donte-whitner-browns-top-100-players-rankings-nfl-network-voting-twitter-lies

Pretty funny. He thinks the NFL top100 that is supposed to be voted on by players is rigged because ... wait for it ... he is not on the list. LoL.
Ok he says that no 9er voted on this list and if this is true that would really be ridiculous, because the list is worth nothing if players from some teams did not vote. Nonetheless, he would be on no such list, no matter who votes...

I loved when he got tasered by cops outside a Cleveland night club. Oh, or when he was arrested for harassment of his girlfriend at the time in 2006. Dude is a pure trash.

Not your type. Rumor has it that she is pretty intelligent.

Apparently she is 27 or 28 years old.

She can take care of herself.

Whitner is still a POS however.

Whitner seems bi-polar. He tries to be a vocal leader but he always boils down to what you see here. This guy is going to be forgotten before he even leaves the league.

Great. We can officially chalk November 30th up in the W column. It's the Sunday after Thanksgiving so I'll be there. Friday night Canadiens v. Sabres. Saturday down to Erie to see McDavid with a stop in The Mistake to take a crap on this moron's porch.

What the hell is his beef with the Bills and Talley?
