BUFFALO, NY (WGR 550) -- The Buffalo Sabres acquired a forward from the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night.

The Blue and Gold acquired LW Jordan Samuels-Thomas in exchange for a conditional 7thround draft pick in 2015.

Samuels-Thomas (6’3, 195 lbs) was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 7th round (203 Overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The Hartford native notched 13 goals and 29 points in 34 games for Quinnipiac University last season.
