OK. the NHL schedule is out. Here are the saturday dates for Sabre games in Ottawa:

who is up for a road trip??

Damn! If it was the weekend before in Feb, we could have caught the last weekend of Winterlude.

I'm up for either one, although I think the Feb game would be better because it's getting down the stretch run into the playoffs, and you guys can see what real winter's all about :D
My Uncle Ernie in Ottawa does group sales for the Senators, so I'll get in touch with him this weekend to find out details about ticket packages, etyc

Also, just a suggestion. Whenever I've done an Ottawa road trip, here's the hotel I usually stay at;

It's right in the middle of the byward market, right downtown so you can just park your car for the weekend and walk close to all the bars, restauraunts, the canal (for skating), parliament hill, downtown attractions.

Right now rooms can be had for $119 CDN a night. I just called the sales manager to look into blocking 12 or 15 rooms at a group rate, so it would be even cheaper & I will get back to you all with more details.

either weekend will work for me..the Bills are off Nov 2. I would probably prefer the February weekend thought...I may be travelling alot this fall.

I'm up for another trip to Ottawa. It sucks that the game in February is a week after Winterlude ends. I had such a GREAT time at that this past February. Even though Winterlude will be over, can we still skate on the canal? I know you think it's gay, Doug, but I LOVED it!!!!!!

I'd like to go.......it's a bit far in advance for me to really know if I can make it or not though. It may depend on how much Christmas travel expenses are going to set me back.
