Tuel has looked better but when a game's on the line I want Thad in there. As to me Thad to me offers more as a QB than Tuel. As to me Tuel doesn't do well improvising or making plays once the initial play breaks down and to me the mark of a good backup QB is just to take things as he sees them and tries to make things happen.Originally posted by Novacane View PostComment

The Pats could end up cutting Mallett given how good Garoppolo has looked. They probably try to trade him first, but probably won't find any takers given how he has played. Of course, he hasn't looked great and may not be much of an upgrade as a backup.
Ryan Nassib is in a battle with Curtis Painter for the Giants backup job, and the loser could get cut.
