The Rams on Wednesday signed their first draft pick of the 2003 class, sixth-round selection Scott Tercero, an offensive guard from California.
The three-year deal is worth $981,000, and includes a $71,000 signing bonus.
Tercero played in 42 games for the Golden Bears, starting 40 in his four seasons.
He was an all-Pac 10 second-team selection his senior year at left guard, where he made 87 knockdowns for an offense that averaged 355.7 yards per game.
