Watching some of this years rookies: Bortles, Johnny Football, Carr, etc...
Look SIGNIFICANTLY Better than EJ.

It's pitiful that a second round ROOKIE QB with half the weapons playing in Oakland (heck pick any of then) is putting EJ to shame.

At this point, I'm Not even sure that EJ is a top 32 QB. He might not even be top 60 QB in NFL!!! He wouldn't make Pats roater, that's for sure and there are about 6-7 QBs in AFC East that have played better than him this preseason. EJ is worst than JP.

Clearly the Bills FO are pros at running the worst team in football. And when it looks like we're about to bottom out, we trade next years picks. Great job guys! The Browns love you.

Buffalo went into the weakest QB draft class in years and selected possibly the weakest of the QBs available with their 1st rounder.... sounds about right....

Hindsight was that this QB class was **** and that EJ was a project and the Bills FO said..... Heck with it ... And picked him anyways.

It's going to cost them another 2-3 years. No chance Bills have a real contender until 2020!

Here's a even better one. If EJ flops this year. Next years QB draft class could contain Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon, Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State, Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA and what did the Bills do? They trade away any shot at getting any one of them.

Tennenhill is Significantly better than EJ who is so bad, that it's not saying much about Tennenhill

But EJ thinks he's doing good... that's all that matters right?

EJ was 100% Marrone and Whaley

If it wasn't Whaley, then why did Doug try and shelter EJ so much this off season? Not wanting to sign anyone that could be viewed as a threat. How's that working out now? If EJ was Nix doing why would Whaley want a plan B to cover all bases?

Selecting a project quarterback is fine if you have an experienced OC or QB coach. We had neither last year. Hackett is a joke. Hackett is the weak link. You can't hide a project QB's weaknesses when you have no idea what you are doing yourself.

Tannehill sucks. But he doesn't suck worse. It's not even remotely close.

Connor Cook is dealing tonight 10 of 11 for 266 yards, 3 TD's and a QBR of 10.2 million.

Anybody that thinks Johnny Football is 'significantly better' than anybody before a regular season game is played really should have zero credibility.

True but I'm enjoying watching Mormon Manziel tonight in BYU v. UConn until UTSA v. Houston and Colorado v. Colorado State start.

I know, I know, you love some EJ and have been banging away from the day they drafted him!

You will see, unfortunately very soon, that I have been right all along -from draft day. It was clearly a bad choice then, and they took the next step in this year's draft and doubled down. They figuratively went to the roulette table, placed their first round chip on EJ, and now placed two more!

What is worst is that he is awful! Yes I am judging his pre-season and yes I am comparing him to rookies and yes they are playing Clearly Much Much Better!

By the way, get off of you high horse. This is what the Preseason if for, its for judging players and seeing how they stack up vs the competition! In fact, this is the whole reason why they have a preseason!

I enjoy your posts but sometimes I think, that in the spirit of evaluation you take too long to see what is in front of you eyes. Sometimes, things are obvious and this is the case at every level. And in just about every spot, exhibitions are held in order to see just that, how your players stack up against the competition!

In fact, this is the whole reason why they have a preseason! So to compare players vs each other and to get a better clearer understanding on who to keep and who to cut. If EJ was a lower round pick, playing for a top 10 team as a backup, right now he would on the verge of being cut.
