Great Year to Make Money on the Bills

I know, I know this will seem a little bit like getting a life insurance policy on your mother, but it is a Great year to Bet Against the Bills. Here is a quick rundown of the opportunities I am seeing right now... in front of us.

Reminds me of Drew's last year when the offense was dog***** dreadful. You know that year that the Bills were not going to score often and had a good enough defense to insure that games didn't totally get out of hand.

Result: Bad Offense & Good Defense = Bet the Under & if you did this you would have made a lot!

    ===== Vegas & Sports Betting =====

It does not work how you think it does!!!! Remember always that vegas does NOT make money because they can predict games better than anyone. NOPE!!! They make money because of the JUICE in the best with usually amounts to around 5%. As a result, Vegas tries their best to get the same number of people on both sides of the bet. By evening each side, there is not risk for Vegas, and they keep the juice in the middle. Put it another way, this is why the point spread moves throughout the week. As more and more people bet for one team, the point spread is moved so more people will bet for the other team. As a result of all of this.... we have a unique opportunity this year.... because no body knowns as well as Bills fans what to expect and the outside world actually has a rosier picture than the inside world.

    Season Wins: Currently 6.5 Wins
    - Take the Under and have a pitty party in December with your winnings. At least you can get paid for another *****ty season.... If they are good, that you have an even BETTER reason to celebrate.

    Opener vs Chicago: Spread 6.5points...
    - Take Chicago all day long. I bet that the 6.5 points gets covered in the first quarter!

Other Notes: When Playing Poor Offenses
    - Take the Under in Games.... Bills wont be able to score worth ***** and neither will the other team... so take the under.

    Catch Up
    - remember that it will take Vegas and popular opinion time to catch up! The 2007 Pats were killing teams by 20+pts and were covering every single spread that year.... until Vegas took the Pats game off!

DO NOT bet against the Bills. I've done it twice in games in which I thought they were going to get absolutely murdered. I figured if they lost for the umpteenth time this past 15 years, at least I could console myself with some cash. If they won and I lost the bet, who cares, I'd be so pumped about victory that I wouldn't care about the money.

Not only did the Bills cover the spread in both games, but they still lost both games as well. One in particularly heartbreaking fashion (NE MNF opener in '09). Double depression at the lost game and lost money, plus the shame of betting against my own team.

This team always finds a way to maximize their fans' misery, so be sure to keep that in mind.

So, first you say bet the over/under, then you say you would bet the Bears to WIN against the Bills with the point spread of 6.5.

Make up your mind, which is it? The over/under or the Bears to win?

Keep two things in mind, the Bears have a TERRIBLE Defense which the Bills should be able to exploit & score some points & the Bills have a GOOD Defense so the Bears may not be able to put up the amount of points you expect them to.

One thing is pretty clear, VERY few people make money betting the NFL.

Like all gambling, the odds are stacked in the favor of the house.

              Not true.
Very few people have the disposable income and the balls to make money betting the NFL.

If you had 100,000$ and you bet it on NE to beat JAX straight up (if you could get that action), you might only see 5,000$ profit (105 moneyline) but you would have made money. For the rich, it's instant-reward stock investing. Gotta bet big to win big.

Very few amateur gamblers make money betting on the NFL, because they try to parlay 10$ into 30,000$, and then think the sport is "fixed" because Denver gives up a garbage time TD to Oakland and can't cover the 12.5 line.

                    32nd Scoring offense at a whopping 12pts a game.

                      That statement is TRUE.

And no matter how much money a person has & how big their balls, the odds are stacked in favor of the house, that is a fact.

A few years ago in the Super Bowl there were odds posted on the Coin Toss.

The Vegas odds were such that Tails had 60% odds & Heads was 40%!
--> It was Cheaper & More profitable to bet on Heads!

Using your logic, Vegas must have stacked the odds of the coin flip in their advantage by knowing ahead of time how the coin flip was going to land.

Do you have any idea why?

Those odds were set because Vegas knows most people would bet on heads.

And you still haven't said why you choose to bet on the Bears to win after you said to bet the over/under.

And what exactly is the over/under point spread?

what does the bills putrid offensive numbers in 2014 preseason have to do with you claiming the Bill offense in 2004 was dreadful when that clearly was not the case

Look at the stats. It has the 2003-2004 season stats.

Bledsoe threw for 11tds, 12ints & was sacked 38 times while putting up 15pts/game.

That year the Bills were a lock in the Under.
