It's a sign of the salary cap era that five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Tony Boselli is going to retire from the Houston Texans without ever playing a down for the expansion team.
Boselli, the first player ever drafted by the Jaguars in 1995 and a cornerstone of the team when it became the most successful expansion franchise in NFL history, was forced to retire because he never overcame torn labrums in both of his shoulders -- injuries he suffered while playing for the Jaguars.
