So Ellerbe is out. Formal Bills 3rd round pick is back starting for the Dolphins. He might be a lessser player, but I have to guess he'll be highly motivated by all counts.

Sounds like a weakness we can exploit.

Sheppard had limited movement and usually selected the wrong lane to cover, while the RB went by him 2 feet to his right or left. Couldn't cover even in short areas. Got tied up far too easily and 2 teams gave up on him because of that.

Miami is suddenly without all three of its starting linebackers, as SLB Dannell Ellerbe went on I.R. following hip surgery on Monday, while WLB Phillip Wheeler is on the shelf after thumb surgery.

If Bills O-Line can handle Dolphins D-Line, I like our chances. It's not the running attack, but more from Chandler goes to the middle, or Jackson/Spiller catch short passes against LBs.

I'd like to say they let Manuel throw slant to Watkins again, but it looks like that's one type of pass they took away from the play book because of the poor showing in preseason (not accurate enough from Manuel and got Watkins injured twice).
