The ownership group the fans wanted are in place to take over.
First home game since Ralph passed.
First home game since Kelly announced he's cancer free.
First home game of the season after a huge road win in Chicago.
AND It's EFFIN Miami to top it all off!!

I will be cheering you guys on from Vegas.

i;ve been to the ralph when expectations are high and the team let us down. if they ride this wave to a big win, that's the momentum that makes stats and past history kind of moot. then we just have to sit back and see how they respond.

it could get real fun if the new jumbotrons all show the pegulas waving on all three tvs. maybe even terry wearing a no jon bon t shirt as a joke.

I am looking forward to the game.

I would pity the Dolphins if they weren't the Dolphins.

I'd sell my first born son to be at the game this Sunday. It's going to be ****ing electric.

Commemorating Ralph. Jimbo prowling the sidelines cancer-free. Pegula just rescued the future of the team.

I sense Snowbowl 2.0 except this time with better weather.

Jimbo @ the 3:15 mark.

If I still lived in South Carolina I would get up there and get a ticket. I have moved to Nevada and that is probably not going to happen due to the drastic increase in cost and travel time.

That being said if that game is not more intense, loud, crazy, and emotional than the Dallas monday night game in 2007 I will be mad.

For the first time in my adult life I will never have to hear enjoy your team because once Ralph passes they are gone. Great day, great feeling, and I cannot wait to take my kids to the Ralph when they get older.

i wonder if the pegula statement of "no comment" until the process is complete means they won't attend the game. i imagine the place with be electric no matter what, but i suspect that once they go up on the jumbotron, it will be crazy. like when rob johnson had to come into a game for the redskins. people went nuts when we sacked him. but this would only be better.

This is like the british wanting to see their king and queen.

Can't believe I sold my tickets to see a music festival in Chicago. The fest will be ridiculous but god damnit, I will be thinking about the Ralph.

Yeah, I read about that, should be a great time, but not as much fun as this Bills opener will be.

Well some cold water - what if the Bills lose that game?

If the Fins got the Bills to Pats position like last Sunday in 4th Q, I don't want to see the city has to deploy National Guards Sunday afternoon.

I SO wanted to go to that.

At least you're not missing the game for something you don't want to do.

I can't imagine a game that would be a worse loss except the Super Bowl, but I am expecting a WIN.

The team & entire Stadium will be fired up for this game.

At least Riot Fest has a cool line-up.

It's not like you're being dragged kicking & screaming to Lilith Fair because your rotten girlfriend wants to see Shawn Colvin.

And you can always stream it on your phone.

so was it insane?

To be perfectly honest, my section was pretty lame. I was in section 336 and the people around me didn't stand up once while the bills were on defense. On big 3rd downs I saw most other sections standing up and the stadium was definitely loud, but I was a little disappointed by the people around us.

The guys beside me, me, and my wife did our part, but the front 2 rows of our section should be ashamed of themselves.

Was Meathead in that section?

It is the wheelchair section.

It was pretty insane. Most of the time Miami had the ball, especially on 3rd downs, it was a loud as any playoff game.

It was a great day, all the way around.

At one point Mary Wilson was on camera, she was having a drink but she stopped and started clapping because the Phins were on third down.

I thought the atmosphere, from beginning to end, was as intense for any regular season game I have ever seen. It was loud and pumped

And, to give the Dolphins fans credit, the ones in my section stood and cheered during the opening ceremony. I thought it was very classy
