Have read a lot about how the Patriots 'improved' their defense over this off-season.

Then was reading this, which prompted me to look at their depth chart:

And then I see the sole back-up to Jerod Mayo is our old cast-off Chris White?!? Didn't realize that.

Good ol' Chrissy! I remember we'd traded him for Thad, then he was released.

Last year it seemed like a good trade off, but to see him as the only backup for the LB squad? Uh oh...
