fans will be able to track progress of their fantasy football teams on a new scoreboard dedicated to the Bills, their opponent and the other 30 National Football League teams not playing there that day.
And they will be able to do so from their seats inside Ralph Wilson Stadium.

“Ten years ago, five years ago, fans in Western New York had one favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills. But today it’s the Bills plus one or maybe two more teams, their fantasy teams,” said chief marketing officer Marc Honan (http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/search/results?q=Marc%20Honan). “We consistently heard fans say they wanted more highlights, and information about out-of-town scores, fantasy stats and other teams.”
It’s all part of the National Football League’s attempt to make the in-stadium atmosphere as welcome as the in-home viewing experience.
Honan said that as part of Ralph Wilson Stadium’s recent $130 million in renovations, one scoreboard will be dedicated for statistics, out-of-town scores and highlights. Located in one corner of the stadium’s east end, it measures about 33 by 60 feet. Another similarly-sized one, in the other east end corner, will mirror the expanded west end scoreboard, which was widened by about 65 feet. Installed in 2007, it will show live game action and replays.

“We added the second board because fans in the west end would have to crane their necks to see the big scoreboard behind them,” Honan said. “The addition of the other east end board means that no longer is an issue.”
