team you hate the most

As Buffalo fans... we know that the fins are the most hated rivals...for the Bills

But who would you say you hate the most in the NHL? i think this is a little tougher... toronto may be a first choice now... but how much history is their there?

maybe Boston...Philadelphia... I mean I don't think there is one NHL team that we are viewed as the biggest rivals....

Philly was a major foe of ours when I started watching hockey back in 1997...and for the longest time, it just seemed we could never beat Jersey.
Toronto isn't a team I hate all that much...I kinda liked watching the Sabres beat them en route to the Cup Finals in 99. :snicker:

I'd have to agree with you... I hate philly.. but kind of have a different type of respect for toronto... its a different kind of rivalry...I guess I started watching in the early 90's... and remember getting trounced in the playoffs until May Day... so thats why I was thinking the B's...

of course 2/5 of our Adams division has moved on.... RIP the Whale and the Diques...can't say the Avs or the Canes games are all that important to us....

I'm not a big fan of the Canes myself. My first ever hockey game was part of a sports weekend. The Bills played the Jets in Orchard Park Saturday afternoon...and lost. Then a few of us went up to the Arena to catch the Sabres-Canes game..which we also lost. :down:

I'd guess the Canes are a strange rivalry...my cousin moved down to Raleigh about 10 years ago... now he has a canes license plate...i guess there are a lot of transplanted Buffalo fans down there... who may root for both teams....

i hate losing to warm weather teams....

The Islanders.:down: First and foremost, I hate their uniforms. And, they were the first hockey game I'd ever gone to, when I was six or seven, and I was hit in the head with a puck. Not a very good memory. lol

I dont remeber who (cough cough) but some goalies got away with knocking over players in the crease.. and you cant tell me theres no such theing as a Crosschecking 2:00 Minute minor for the goalie cause Biron Got 2 last season and Miller Got One In the AHl when he Played Norfolk, and he got a double minor cause he Crosschecked Ajay Baines in the back and his nose bled all over the ice not to mention the gigantic bruise on his lower back..

Growing up watching the Adams Division games, I'd say the Bruins have been the team I have hated most overall. There were great playoff series between those teams- alot of great play, alot of stress, and alot of blood has been shed between those teams, literally and figuratively.

Philly foremost, but I have developed a deep hatered for Thrasher fans. They're cocky despite they're team sucking since it came into the league. I see the Sabres play the Thrash at least once a year though - for that I'm greatful.

I agree with that! And I also despise the Flyers and greatly dislike the Bruins. When I first got into the Sabres they were always playing the Bruins in play-off series. I mostly hate Philly teams (football as well as hockey) because of their obnoxious fans.
