Thank God game planning against him is easy, as he only runs one route.

I still remember that game against Houston where he blew the roof off the Texans defense for 2 TDs.

yup. over 200 yards in the first quarter. And I also remember how he didn't win offensive player of the week because at that time, the media was all over chad johnson's nuts

the team asked him to lead the charge right thru the middle of the field but lee insists on taking them right down the sideline

Funny because it's true.

lee was traded bc he didnt want to run chans routes thru the middle. chan pretty much said so himself when he said something like 'lee is at a stage in his career where he has his preferences and we both felt that wasnt a fit for what we are doing here'

chan got lambasted for that but turned out he was more right than anybody imagined

I still remember taking heat from guys like Lecter for saying the Bills shouldn't have resigned him.
Think I always been right when it came to the Bills.

I'm gonna put on my Evans jersey just for the charge!

I've got to admit I'm underwhelmed. This is game #2 of this "leading the charge" and we're down to Evans already. I could think of about 4 years worth of guys before I got to Evans. Whose doing the next charge? JP?

How about Maybin? That would probably set a Guinness record for most jaws simultaneously dropped.

Did you? They probably weren't half so annoyed as Baltimore.

Jesus, how cynical can you people be? He deserves it. Lee was a great receiver for many years and through many lousy QBs.

We ***** and moan about how little positive is said about Buffalo. Well here's our opportunity to make sure we have one more booster.

It's much the same as what Pegula did with the Sabres. The Sabres were somewhat dismissive of alumni before Pegula. To his credit, he thought that was bad for the team, bad for the fans, and awful PR.

It will get the fans fired up. I like it.

Me too.

JP was a one demensional downfield QB but his accuracy on the deep ball was no joke.

His chemistry with Lee Evans was phenominal. I started Lee Evans that week and rolled to an easy FF win.

Lee will be at the 50 by the time everyone else gets to the 20

Lead the charge guy stands on top of tunnel.

It's be cool if they got 2-3 players from 10yrs, 20yrs, 30yrs and 40yrs for sequential years. This way we honor the past and get more players back

I have no problem with Lee Evans doing it, I guess. I like Evans a lot as a player. But, the 2nd week of doing the charge? This is how I picture the conversation going.
A PR guy bust into Russ Brandon office.
PR guy, " Hey boss, I have a great idea for getting fans and the players pumped up before a game. We could have ex-Bills lead the Bills in a charge onto the field."
Brandon "I like where this is going. Who did you have in mind?"
PR guy "Well, Andre just went into the Hall of Fame, he should do the home opener."
Brandon "Brilliant! How about the next home game?"
PR guy "I don't know. I guess, Lee Evans isn't doing much."

Not every player is going to be a hall of famer. It's not like they have Leif Larson leading the way. Lee was our #1 for years.

This is exactly what I meant by cynical.
