JUL 17 (afternoon)--Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Thursday that the Chiefs have agreed to terms of a three-year deal with fourth-round draft choice (113th overall) T Brett Williams. The Chiefs have now agreed to terms with six of their eight 2003 draft choices. As per Chiefs policy, no further terms of the agreement were disclosed.
Williams (6-5, 321) joins Kansas City after completing a successful collegiate career at Florida State University where he saw action in 40 games (35 starts) at tackle for the Seminoles. Williams started all 14 games at left tackle in 2002, earning first-team All-America honors from The NFL Draft Report, The Sporting News and the American Football Coaches Association.
