Yup pardner, there is hope. This team is still tied atop the division, it still played close enough to win, it has been two weeks since this team turned over the ball, and its one loss so far has been against the team that gave the defending champion its only loss. Oh, and it held Gates to what 1 catch for eight yards and it tko'd Woodhead. So guess what, its still too early to dial up the suicide hotline and to prepare the funeral. Its too early to visit the psychiatrist and ask for depression medication (of course if a football team does drive you to mental illness then maybe you should be seeking professional health as your priorities are seriously warped). Anyways, this team still can make the playoffs. Now, if this loss triggers the annual 4+ game free fall we are in trouble, but its too early to jump ship, so get the sand out of your manginas and butch up girly pants.
Wait, you Mean There's Hope?

Orton is our hope.
He's twice the QB Manuel is and he'll prove the truth of that soon enough if Marrone has the balls to do it.Disclaimer: The sentiment expressed in this post is strictly for entertainment purposes only.

I think he does have the sack and it wouldn't hurt E.J. to set him down in that situation.
If he doesn't then he is conceding the season in favor of developing Manuel. That may cost him his job.
