    Honoring the Steagles

    THE PITTSBURGH Steelers will turn back the clock to 1943 to honor a legendary group on Aug. 16 when the
    Eagles visit Heinz Field for their
    exhibition matchup. It was the year the Eagles and Steelers
    merged into the "Steagles" for a season because of a manpower shortage during World War II.

    Sixty years later, Dan Rooney, son of late Steelers owner Art Rooney, is pulling out all the stops to remember and pay
    tribute to the Steagles, with six of the nine living members of Greasy Neale's (and Walt Kiesling's) team planning to make it back to the Steel City for the celebration.
