A FootBall Team With A Quarterback Problem X

Make no mistake this is one of the top 5 teams in the AFC. This is no reflection on EJ Manual and/or what he can do or where he can go from here. However, this is far too good a football team to be sitting around to cut some guys teeth in the line of fire. We have a squad of MEN from top to bottom. Talent at the ball skills positions and depth across the board. We can beat anyone...and Detroit is no one hit wonder they are one of the best teams in the league.

Kyle Orton brings game to the table like no QB we have seen since Flutie. I'm excited. Don't expect him to become one of the top QBs in the league but we don't need him to be either. These guys are talented and have fighting spirit.

Fred Jackson belongs on the WOF too. The driving force he is on this current team should not EVER drape the fact that he was that same driving force on teams that gave up. He never gave up. The effort he gives on every play he has given on every play forever. Fred Jackson is a model human being for the generations.

He's definitely not the long term answer. But he just might be good enough to get this team back into the playoffs.
