I voted downtown, but is there a viable location in Niagara Falls where you could actually have a view of the falls from the stadium? That would be pretty cool.

For the record, I don't give a hoot about traffic. People always bring up traffic when talking about a new stadium, but there's really not a sports venue anywhere that doesn't have significant traffic issues during sporting events.

I voted Downtown as well, but believe me, some sports venues are much worse than others in regards to traffic.

I think Foxboro has to be about the worst in the entire Country for traffic.

We don't want to duplicate that.

Downtown, with the stadium on one end of the development and the Sabres arena on the other with a posh nightclub and entertainment district and lofts/apartments in between with several acres of parking near the stadium for tailgating.

now if Solar City doesn't happen the new stadium could go there? I mean think about it the land has already been zoned and it's ready to build on. The Solar City site is on where republic steel used to be

I voted downtown, and believe this is almost as sure of a thing as Pegs becoming owner as soon as the preliminary bids were put in. It makes the most sense, and the only things that could derail it are the projects (if they are going to be affected) and greed by the current land owners (Paladino, etc).

I'm certainly not against Niagara Falls or Orchard Park, though.
